Left button unresponsive

Hello,

I have had my OSTC2 for a couple of months, the left button has always been less responsive than the right one, even when set to the same tolerance.

After wireless charging the unit today the left button is now completely unresponsive? Any ideas?

Hi Cato,

1st, wrong forum, you have an OSTC2 not an "OSTC Mk.2, 2N and 2C"
the right forum is "OSTC3, cR, sport and 2"

You can try to check/set the 'Left button sensitivity', 'Right button sensitivity'
with HWOSConfig from the OSTCTools collection.
Maybe this is not a hardwaredefect.

I had a similar headache trying to get the connection to stable up. If it's dropping mid-sync, try completely unpairing the OSTC from your device's native Bluetooth settings first, restart the device, and then try pairing it directly through the companion app instead. Also, making sure no other background dive-logging apps (like Subsurface) are trying to fight over the same COM port at the same time usually clears this right up.
