Sport - Bluetooth and upgrade of firmware

The companion asks 'have I installed the FTDI VCP driver?
When I try the Mac stops me from downloading, blah blah blah etc, all of which I do not understand........can anyone help but please nice and simple please??

I have now used Subsurface and completed the upgrade to 10.26 even without any guidance/help from HW......disappointed to be ignored!!!!!!!!
Why can HW not get the Bluetooth to work properly and stop messing around with how to upgrade etc.
Fix the connection and include the upgrade of firmware from within so all remains simple and straightforward .....the connection issue is really grating with me now, I was a fan of HW but no longer singing praise to fellow club divers when asked what dive computer I use!!!!!!

Good that it finally worked out for you (I merged the two threads together). As I have written a quite long FAQ article about updating I just couldn't see where to start helping you here.
