Last night I went for a pool dive with my homebuilt chestmount ccr. I was in the ccr calibration menu, when it started behaving strange. As I moved my ccr from outside to the indoor pool, some condensation formed on the computer screen, so I washed the screen with pool water, when it started going crazy. Firstly two different areas from the screen, left lower corner and top right corner, went to a combination of lines and dots. Than it become unresponsive at pressing buttons. Than the writing had characters mirrored, inverted left to write. Than it froze again. Than the screen flipped upside down. It all lasted for about 10 minutes, time after it seemed to function normally to the end of the dive.
It looked like a software bug. Any ideas why it done that? Could the temperature difference from outdoors and indoors be affecting the functionality of the computer? I used it before in pool warm water and in caves cold water without any of the above symptoms.

Re: OSTC CR malfunction
Hi,
Which firmware was installed? Sounds all a bit wired to me even if you have an older version such issues did not happen before.
regards,
Matthias
