Since a few months my OSTC3 has strange color settings. Please have a look at the photo:

Can this be corrected by adjusting settings or it's a hardware problem?

It looks like your OSTC3 is set to the wrong colour display mode ?
Perhaps try :
Menu -> Settings -> Display Settings -> Colour scheme -> Select "Standard"

Thank you for suggesting this. I found out that this setting only affects diving mode.
The colors in this preview are mixed up as well. E.g. when I choose "red " the preview is in a dark blue tone (looks brighter on the photo):

Here "blue" is selected:

A reset of all settings in the menu did not help either.

Thank you for suggesting this. I found out that this setting only affects diving mode.

That's really wired. Either hardware or software issue, this looks strange. Can you please install the 2.18beta for a test and if it's still swapped we'll have a look at your unit at our place. If the colors will be correct, try re-installing the 2.15 then.
You already have emailed us about this issue. I'm very sure we get this fixed fast.
