INSTALLED OSTC Sport software on OSTC3 -now not able to connect to USB

I was trying to update my firmware on OSTC3 as with one of the recent update it did not give me a choice when arriving at 6 m deco stop for O2- vers 2.98.
Then I read somewhere one could use the sport version. Now when I installed that one it comes up with BLUETOOTH connection on the OSTC3 but I figure there is no Bluetooth on this OSTC3 to my knowledge.
How should I know connect and install the correct OSTC 2.98 version for this OSTC3 ?

Can you give some more detail on the circumstances that let to "did not give me a choice"?
