I have noticed that my OSTC 4, #474 with 1.3.9 must have a software bug.
A dive with a surface interval of up to 24 hours always has some CNS value between 300 - 900%! The way I dive usully gives a CNS value between 15 - 25%. But the OSTC only gives normal values after a >24h dive break.
Am I alone with it?
Unrealistic CNS values
Re: Unrealistic CNS values
I also see strange values sometimes however not every time. Last dive I can find is from late december where I did 2 dives; dive 1 ended in CNS 13, where dive 2 started with a CNS of 347 and after 26 seconds it went back to 3.
Re: Unrealistic CNS values
That's exactly what I've been noticing. Always with a 2nd dive with a distance of less than 24h from the previous one the CNS values at the beginning of several 100% are not correct at all. Each time the CNS value of the 2nd dive comes to a normal value after a time of 20-30 seconds.
People, please check the CNS value output by the OSTC4 at the beginning of each repetitiv dive with surface interval less then 24h. We are hardly the only ones!

Re: Unrealistic CNS values
Checking again and indeed....
Last October I had a week of diving with multiple dives, there's however something strange, since the very first dive in the sequence also begins high despite having an interval of about a week:
23-09-18 CNS start 0, end 7
01-10-18 CNS start 215, after 26 seconds 2, end 16
01-10-18 CNS start 999, after 26 seconds 16, end 30
02-10-18 CNS start 52, after 26 seconds 0, end 2
03-10-18 CNS start 0, end 11
03-10-18 CNS start 249, after 26 seconds 2, end 15
04-10-18 CNS start 477, after 26 seconds 4, end 16
04-10-18 CNS start 476, after 26 seconds 4, end 17
05-10-18 no CNS information available
Also on 24-10-18 after an interval of 10 days, it starts with 608 and after 26 seconds it's 6 and 10 at the end of dive.
All above information is from the Diving Log application into which I directly import my dive computer.

Re: Unrealistic CNS values
Hi,
I think I talked with user "mnk" last weekend about this bug and this has been fixed a few minutes ago: https://bitbucket.org/heinrichsweikamp/ ... ommits/all
Another step forward to the new stable...
regards,
Matthias
