OSTC Sport hwOS 10.57 : strange compass behaviour

Good morning,

Since I have upgraded my OSTC Sport with the new firmware 10.57, I have a strange behaviour of the compass.
Both in simulation mode or during a dive, the yellow line of the compass is flashing !
Furthermore when moving the compass, the refresh of the display is slow and jerky.

Hello Alain,

that's all due to a much reduced update rate of the compass graphics. In the previous firmwares, the OSTC was indeed more an electronic compass than a dive computer, spending most of its CPU time on rendering the compass (or doing nothing if no compass shown). Now it is the reverse way, the compass now gets two distinct time slots per second in-between the dive calculations to update the graphics. But the smoothing can be done better, we work on it...

I don't often use the electronic compass so I prefer the OSTC spent more CPU time for diving calculation than compass management.
