Also cannot calibrate compass
Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
It’s pretty much bricked. I’ve updated the firmware. But it won’t let me access any menus.
Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
Left it overnight. Now the unit will not switch on

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
When did you update FW, before or after error?
Was the FW upgrade successful?
To which FW?
Is it fully charged?
Did you restart it with a magnet?

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
Put the OSTC4 on the charger and touch the left side with a strong magnet. That restarts the OSTC.

Mmmm, dosent seem to do anything.
Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
You should see the device power cycle and then start up when it's done the right way:
- the dive computer needs to be on the charger, and actually charging;
- touch the magnet to the metal casing of the dive computer, on the side where the circular opening for the battery compartment is, next to the compartment (or slide it over the entire side, to get the right spot);
- when it's working you should see the 'Heinrichs Weikamp' boot logo, and then the surface screen.

- and the magnet has to be strong enough.

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches or errors. Give it a try and see if the problem persists.
Check hardware connections: Make sure all the necessary cables and connections are secure. If there are any loose connections, it could cause errors in the temperature and pressure readings.
Update drivers and software: Check for any available updates for your computer's hardware drivers and related software. Outdated or incompatible drivers can sometimes cause issues. Visit the manufacturer's website or use the automatic update functionality to ensure you have the latest versions.
Run system diagnostics: Many computers have built-in diagnostics tools that can help identify hardware problems. Consult your computer's user manual or manufacturer's website to learn how to run these diagnostics. They can provide valuable information about any hardware issues, including temperature and pressure monitoring systems.
Seek professional help: If the problem persists and you're unable to resolve it on your own, it may be best to contact a computer technician or the manufacturer's support team for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your computer model and help diagnose and fix the issue.
