Diluent gas switch

Hi Matthias, all,

for the international readers in english :
today I received my OSTC Mk.2. Thanks for that Matthias.. was still less than a week

I went through all setups and started the first simulation.
My intended main purpouse of the DC is currently a backup for my VR3 in CCR Decomprerssion dives, however when I am satisfied I might use it a main DC
Currently I am using only one Diluent so momentarily I should be fine.
However in the simulation I did not find any option to switch Diluents in DIve mode, Is this correct? Or am I just "too stupid" to find it? or is the simulation not correct and it could be done while actual diving?
I also thought maybe I could workaround and change the "first gas" during diving, but in simulation I also do not get into the gas settings menu.
The 3 setpoint option is quite nice to have, but much less needed than the ability to change Diluent.
In case that currently it is not possible to switch diluent, is this foreseen in near future? or can this be foreseen?

Hallo Frank,

You can switch the diluent in divemode by bailing out to your new diluent and then switch back to your Setpoint.
But: This feature was added in the 1.55beta a week ago (1.50 stable will re-set your diluent to the "Start Gas").

Most likely, this will be a bit more comfortable in the next stable.

Hi Matthias,

that was what I tried frist, but then saw that it was switching back to the old diluent..
If this is how it will work in the next stable that's for sure good enough to work with it
And by the time I get there (Diluent switches) maybe there is already a more comfortable way
