Corrosion Housing OSTC 4
What can i do against the corrosion of the alu housing?

Keep it clean and flush and dry it after diving with
freshwater. Do not use a housing made from 3. Party.
If there are small damages in the coating from use, You can paint it with clear lacquer or send it to the company for check up and maintenance.
You find allways some corrosion in metal, with exception of Gold. Even on brass, but brass ist most corrosion resistant in saltwater.
This is the reason, why propellers on boats made of brass, sone of stainless steel or even a saltwater resistant form of Aluminium.
And yes, there are hulls of some boats made of Aluminium.
But it is a spezial aluminium.
Dont worry to much, this corrosion on Your computer is mostly cosmetic.But if You really uscared about it, send it to the company for maintenance as You do also with Your regulator.
