Hello,
Somehow I cannot connect my OSTC to my Mac to have the updates and transfer my logbooks.
I installed (i think) the USB drivers software and I am running Jdivelog vers 13 but somehow he does not allow me to select the OSTC (or any other device) in the settings menu?
Anybody experienced this before?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello,
Updating the firmware with Jdivelog is actually not more complicated then with the Windows-Bootloader:
- Download firmware hex file for the correct unit (OSTC1 or Mk.2!)
- Select Tab "OSTC Firmware Update"
- Choose correct COM port
- open hex file in file dialog
- Power-on OSTC Mk.2 and go into 'Menu->Reset menu'
- Click "write flash" in jdivelog
- select and confirm "Reboot OSTC" in 'Reset Menu' within 10 seconds
Wait about one minute.
regards,
Matthias

Re: Jdivelog on Mac
Hello,
I tried the method of tecdivers..
I have even tested the manual mode and writing the code.
I have a Mac Book Pro, running Snow Leopard 10.6
I seem to have the USB RXTX files
When I connect the OSTC MK2 version 1.50 to the USB port it is charging but still in JDivelog I cannot select him from the list..
Should I try ALL the USB ports on the Macbook or is it not important which port I take..?
Getting desparate,
