deco planning
Hi Mathais when using the simulater to dive plan does the OSTC MK2 not take deco gases into its calculation. Also would you know what is the best GF setting to give comparable results to the VR3 I am not saying that the VR3 is a better result just that my buddy dives one and I would like to choose on less extreme diving to follow a similar run time
Re: deco planning
I believe it will take into consideration any active gases.
The GF algotithm is not comparable to the VR3 "pyle stop" style implementation.
Since the Vr3 algorythm is not public you cant really plan how to match them.

Re: deco planning
Yes, I agree with D.
The deco gas has to be activce in the gas list plus you need to set the operation depth for the simulator to make use of it.

Hi,
here another vote for the incompatibility of VR3- and OSTC-profiles.
I used to dive a lot with VR3-buddies on Inspirations but i was never able to generate a even close profile.
My best guess is GF 5/95 but the deepest OSTC stop is still way shallower then the deepest VR3 stop and the shallow stops are still shorter on the VR3 than on the OSTC with this setting.
