I hoped that this new version would take care of the missing negative temperature values, but apparently do the developpers never dive in icy waters
. I have been diving all winter in Scandinavia and temperatures range from -2 to +3 but the DiveLog just neglects the minus......shame.

The Portuguese version is full of character bugs (maybe the font used) every word with Ãã õÕ (circuflex acent) its substituted with strange characters

With all due respect, you are barking at the wrong tree. I posted that a new version was available because I noticed that there was a new one available. Neither I nor anyone else who have posted here has a relationship with the software other than being a user.
I you wish to have your concerns recorded and actioned at some point in time you need to do it in the right forum. This is not it.
As you voice your concerns you may also wish to contribute to the project. If you can't code maybe you can donate some thing else. Remember JDiveLog is a community project.

It seems that the negative temperature value wasn't only a JDiveLog issue after all:
