1.17

Post by heinrichsweikamp »

Hallo,

E4246D.htm

Gruss,
Matthias Heinrichs

Hello,

In this new release new features for the ppO2 mode were added. It's now possible to select all five bailout gases (where gas #1 is the diluent gas usually). We also renamed "Mix" to the more common "SetPoint" or "SP".

New is the Apnoe mode, it will give the diver the divetime and max. depth in minutes:seconds for each descent plus has a surface timer in minutes:seconds. Just try this new mode and we're sure you'll like it! Hint: You can quit this mode with the menu buttons if you do not want to wait for the timeout.

A potential bug in the NDL routine has been fixed. This will probably fixes an issue in shallow water which resulted in "freezing" the display output.

We recommend to update to this version:

THUS, you mean that I have to set up the OSTC on PPO2 deco. Then, I have to set my first gas as diluent and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th as bailout, switching the active button on YES ?
Is this correct ?

Tomorrow I'm going to try it like this at 52 m at 1.2 PPO2

Correct, and set the Setpoints in the ppO2 setup correct. It's not required to set the gases to "Active" (You could select them even they were inactive) but it's recommended so they won't be grayed out in the list.

Do you have any feedback from the people who are testing the 'new' left button ?
Another question : when do you have another manual ?
I can help, if you wish, for the translation in french from english or dutch

Hello,

We have tested the buttons at 10Bar so far.

Help with the Wiki http://www.heinrichsweikamp.net/ostc/pmwiki/pmwiki.php is very welcome. We will extract an updated manual from the wiki soon. We have password-protected the wiki to avoid Spam bots filling out the manual. We will send the password to anyone who wants to help.

Yesterday, little dive at 52m, PPO2 1.2, TX 15/31.
No problems with the OSTC. Great job ! The menu for switching to bail out is very easy

Scheint gewirkt zu haben. :) Seid dem Update sind bei allen drei Rechnern in meiner unmittelbaren Umgebung keine St?rungen mehr aufgetreten.

Until today no problems were reported with 1.17 -> We can work with the next beta which will have "deep stops" as an option.

Hello,

We are implementing a complete Multi-Gradient Factor model right now and hope to release a beta soon. Sorry, no actual date is fixed yet.

Some changes are already done and working in the upcoming Beta:
New in 1.19:
- Added Menu "Int. Module"
- Time and Date are preserved during a Firmware Update and Reset (An offset of about one minute may occur)
- moved Debug Output
- Added Custom Function II Menu (CF32-CF63)
- Added CF31: Show Battery Symbol instead of Voltage
- Added Menu "O2 Sensor Menu" for upcoming O2 CCR Sensors
- Holding down right button will automatically increase value in Menus and Gasetup
- Several code improvements

Matthias

I've read this in the wiki :
"Decotype

* Switches between the different deco methods (currently ZH-L16, const. ppO2, Gauge, Apnoe and DeepStops) "

Does it mean that the deepstops are not possible for PPO2 mode ?

Hello Mathias, I don't see any Deep Stops in there...
When can we expect that upgrade?

Thanks

Hello,

The DeepStops (GF-Method) will be available for CCR users, too and most likely we will publish a beta this or beginning of next week.

Matthias
