Gas Setup

Post by Tom »

Hi,

I have just installed the Firmware Version 1.90.

As I tried to set the gases, I expierienced a strange behavior.

I tried to change the depth/ppO2 per gas. This worked until I defined a gas as first gas. Then this gas was set back to 0m. This wasn't the case in the previous version.

Another thing is, that gases which are set "active" are still shown in blue.

Has anybody an idea whether it's a bug or I did something wrong.

Regards

Tom

Hello Tom,

This is not bugs, but the intended behavior:
* First gas can't have a switch depth. So this is forced to zero, to avoid conflicts in the OCR decompression algo.
* To be REALLY active, a deco gas should have a depth>0, or it will never be used before surface.

Hi Jean,

Ok, and how do I set the max. ppO2 for the first gas? I would like to set different ppO2 for bottom and deco gas.

You don't set ppO2 for a specific gas. The ppO2 results of the O2 content and the ambient pressure.
