Hi,
after my recent dive I had a desaturation time of more than 18h. That is also logged in the logbook. This desaturation was shown on the main screen too. After opening the logboog, checking this dive and going back to the main screen no desaturation was shown anymore. Only the no fly time.
After another dive I experienced that the desaturation shown on the main screen (initially more than 18h) was not shown on the main screen anymore much before the 18h. In that case I didn't check the logbook.
The bad thing is, that I can no get the desaturation information somewhere else and I am not sure if the remaining desaturation is calculated in a repetative dive.
Is some setting wrong or is this a bug?
I have the firmware version 2.0. installed
Regards Tom

I had exactly the same issue with 31 hours of desat to go after my last dive. It had completely cleared the next morning.
Also using version 2.0

Re: Desaturation disappears on main screen
Hi,
I was diving again yesterday and had again a huge desaturation of about 29h (even this looks strange for a dive of 100 min and average 10 m. That was around 5pm. At 8pm I had less than 8h desaturation. One hour later I had less than 5h.
It seems the desaturation display doesn't correlate with the time.
I downloaded V 2.01. I will post my experience if I have been diving again. My next dives will be in the Bodensee and deeper than the recent dive. I am courious what desaturation I will have on the display an how it reduces. My divebuddy has a VR3 so we can compare.

Re: Desaturation disappears on main screen
Hi, does anyone now whether this is a bug? If the desaturation times are wrong then I assume any repeat or repetitive dive calculations will be wrong.

Hello Smiler,
Yes we are awear of this random bug. It is currently under fixing... It is tricky: we need to have a good enough surface pressure to predict when the desaturation point will be reached. The formula in unstable (very small pressure variation make large time variation). And you are alowed to ascent (from sea to montains) or descent (from mountain lakes down to the valley), making easy kludge just inoperants.
But it does not impact computation of successive or repetitive dives. Because repetitive dives depends solly on compartiments, and compartiments computation is intrinsically a very stable process (small variations are averaged out by the integration process).
Hope this is clear enough.
