New 2.09beta available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2
Hi,
The new 2.07beta includes some fixes in the NDL code and the bailout option if moved to the top of the setpoint list. This makes the bailout procedure in CCR mode easier. Discussion about this here: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/read.php?2,7070
The changelog:
NEW: Added GF surface display (when > CF08).
BUGFIX: spurious random NDL>0 during deco dive
CHANGE: Moved "Bailout" to top of SetPoint list
CHANGE: Speed optimizations in deco code
You can get the HEX file here: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/de/ostc_2n/firmware/
You can install it with the bootloader V2 (No reset in the unit required!). Instead of choosing "Web download" just install it manually by selecting the HEX file with "browse".
Cheers,
Matthias

Thx guys, bailout is in top. As in 2.06 time and date has been set back.

Re: New 2.07beta available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2
Hello Mathias, I was diving in the morning. I did a decompression dive with Nitrox 34 at 30m, I came in decompression for 2 minutes, and (OSTC 2N) with version 2.07, it blocked the `6m 2. I've stopped to 6m for almost 10 minutes and it does not came out this way.
When the MK II LMorais the same situation happened to 6m 3 'blocked during the same dive also with version 2.07.
Until the next dive.

Andi

Hello Matthias,
I notice the same issue reported by MPereira. Would you need any adicional information about this dive?

Re: New 2.08beta available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2
Hi,
Now the 2.08beta is online, besides the new function that you can see the configured change depth while browsing in the gaslist we reverted the deco code to 2.06beta to have some time finding some bugs in the changes routines.

Hi Matthias
I love the recent changes you have implemented and look forward to the next stable release.
One thing, possibly a bit pedantic really, but you have the word "in" in the show change gas depth which would could imply that you need to travel a further 20m, as in the above picture example, before changing gas. I feel it would be better to use the word "at" to show changing of a gas at a certain point/depth.

Re: New 2.09beta available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2
Hi,
We know you like testing on the weekends, we uploaded the 2.09beta just a few minutes ago.
BUGFIX: When the deco is finished you'll see the NDL again
Additionally, we made some small fixes to the text layout.
You can get the HEX file here: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/de/ostc_2n/firmware/
You can install it with the bootloader V2 (No reset in the unit required!). Instead of choosing "Web download" just install it manually by selecting the HEX file with "browse".
Cheers,
Matthias
P.S.: I uploaded only English, German and French language because the other versions require some updated translations we not got yet.

Good work Matthias,
Unfortunately to us, the sea conditions on this weekend are not good for diving
Playing on simulator

Hello Matthias,
I noted that in RUSSIAN version missed translation for some strings:
## 181, 182, 280, 311-313.
Please use attached file for next releases.
Thank you!

Re: New 2.09beta available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2
Is there any way to keep the date (and time) settings in future releases!? It is quite annoying to find wrong dates for the last couple of dives when opening the logbook.
Beside this I did not find any issues with 2.09 so far. Would be really cool to have th GF% displayed in dive mode as well after deco is finished...

Re: New 2.09beta available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2
Just used v2.09 on my 2 week trip to Maldives.
Ran it alongside Vytec DS. Settings ZH-L16OC with CF32 - 30% and CF 33 - 90%
I did a total of 32 dives, max depth 37m and dive time average 56mins.
The OSTC behaved perfectly apart from 2 small issues.
Some times when scrolling through the logbook it would appear to freeze. The screen would show wait!. I did and it eventually moved on but took approx 5mins.
Secondly we finished one dive in very heavy swell approx 1 to 2m. After the dive I got this profile -

This then cleared to show the normal picture.

Hi,
I think we have found the cause of these spurious logbook glitches with the 2.09beta. I'll post a 2.10beta in a few minutes fixing this. Would be nice if those with this issue can confirm that it's fine then.
regards,
Matthias
