Whenever the pressure is increased, the reading seems to be ok. The depth seems to be right, and the OSTC reacts 'fast', meaning when I descend a little, the OSTC also shows a deeper depth. So far, so good but the problem arises during ascend (decrease pressure) from 15m and less deep. The depth measurement seems to be a little stuck and the measurement is only going slowly to the right depth (logaritmic). It is very obvious when I surface. It still reads about 1.0-2m depth at the surface. After a while (sometimes a little faster, sometimes slower), it reads 0.9, a longer while later 0.7, a longer while later 0.6, ... . When it gets 30 seconds) for showing the ambient (atmospheric) pressure again.
I suppose there might be something stuck inside acting as a kind of 'one-way valve', although I'm not sure what that might be. Anyone else experienced similar problems? How can I possibly check what might be wrong? More important, how may I solve the problem? (Rinsing with weak acid? Antibacterial something maybe? ...?)
Thanks, Kurt
