Firmware 2.21 jdivelog problem

Hi all!

After I installed ostc firmware 2.21 I can't download new dives to jdivelog. It only downloads dives that I have done with older firmware. OSTC:s logbook shows all dives correctly.
OS is Win 7.
Could anyone help about this issue.

I had the same problem on the older firmware. I have not tried a download now I am on 2.21.

A workaround was to create a new log and download the dives. I could download all my dives from the OSTC to a new log. I could then open my old log and import the new dives into it.

Not an elegant solution but keeps the log up to date until we find a fix.

A thought just occurred.....

If I create a new log and download my dives I get all the dives on the OSTC downloaded without a problem. If I then import my old dive log into the new one I wonder if I can then just use the new log and delete the old one? Off to try it out......

I already tried to create new logbook, but still I can't download new dives into it. It only shows dives with older firmware.

Hi

I have absolutely no problems - OSTC v2.21 - jdivelog 2.16 - Windows Vista.
Just connect OSTC to computer and then start jdivelog and do settings with dive computer - .....

OK...done some diving and tried to download on v2.21 to Jdivelog 2.16 and it only sees my dives up to Nov 2011.

I opened a new divelog and tried again. Still it only sees up to Nov 2011 - this used to work on v2.0.

I tried reflashing v2.21....same problem.

What's going on?

OK....so I opened the temp dive log I had created to download my dives a few weeks ago. I click on download and all my recent dives appear. I can then import them into my proper dive log.

Must be a bug in JDivelog or the way it saves the data.

habe das selbe Problem mit dem download von TGs aus dem Logbook, seit ich auf 2.01 aktualisiert habe. Ein update auf 2.21 bracht edahingehend gar nichts. Ein neues, temporäres logbook aufzumachen funktioniert bei mir nicht: ich erhalte immer noch die alten TGs von vor dem update angezeigt.
Ist da ein bug im OSTC II, oder liegt es am Jdivelog? Hat irgendjemand noch einen anderen workaround?? Das Problem ist ziemlich ärgerlich!

Hello Friends,

i think i found the solution for the Problem

-> make sure your Com Port is set correct in my case it´s Com1 RXTX-2.1
and now set your Protocol Version OSTC Mk.2 1.91 - X

after my FW update to 2.21 my Protocol was set to OSTC Mk.2 1.90 - X for what reason ever
