Hi team !
Here are some odd results of CNS computation in simulation mode:
Decotype: L16-GF OC
CF32: 80
CF33: 80
--- First example:
G1:*NX 30 at 0m
G2: O2 100 at 6m
Simulate 39' @ 39m
Deco -> 3'@9 6'@6 10'@3 (OK)
CNS: 83% (way too high. Should be in the vicinity of 50%)
--- Second example:
G1:* AIR 21 at 0m
G2: O2 100 at 6m
Simulate 39' @ 39m
Deco -> 4'@12 9'@9 8'@6 13'@3 (OK)
CNS > 250% (displayed in red) (Should be in the vicinity of 40%)
Any ideas ?

v2.20 : CNS% in simulation
Re: v2.20 : CNS% in simulation
Hi Olivier,
I sim the two dives in my 2n using your settings.
Here are the results:
Case1: CNS=51%
3' @ 9m (NX30)
5''@ 6m (O2)
10' @ 3m (O2)
Case2: CNS=40%
4' @ 12m (Air)
8' @ 9m (Air)
8' @ 6m (O2)
13' @ 3m (O2)
Cheers

Re: v2.20 : CNS% in simulation
Hi,
This is what I get (p_amb=978mbar)
Example 1:
CNS=51%
3@9m
5@6m
11@3m
Example 2:
CNS=40%
4@12m
9@9m
8@6m
13@3m
Did you adjust any other CF then CF32 and CF33?
Regards,
Matthias

Re: v2.20 : CNS% in simulation
Of course, I was talking about the results of 'Calculate Deco', not a real-time simulation (a.k.a 'Start Dive').
Here are my CFs (the ones different from default)
CF08: 50%
CF32: 80%
CF33: 80%
CF38: ON
CF43: 6000
CF44: 80%
CF54: ON
CF55: 1
CF56: 17
CF57: 17
CF58: 2
CF60: ON
And I think I found what causes the problem. It's CF54. When it's OFF, the CNS% results in the sim results are correct. When it's ON (my settings), the CNS% goes wild.

Re: v2.20 : CNS% in simulation
Same problem here i am using version 2.21
with CF54 on strange cns results
with CF54 off cns is allright.

Re: v2.20 : CNS% in simulation
This is a known issue if you have CF54 on (shallowest stop first). So turn it off.
