Hi Guys and girls,
I am trying to do a bit of fiddling with the safety stop depths on V2.51beta but I can't seem to download the source code. I can download the stable no problems but the beta is not there. I have a newish computer running XP and this is the first time I've tried the MPLAB software on it. I thought it might be an issue with my computer so i tried to download the code from another running VISTA but have had the same problem. Is there something wrong at your end HW or am I being dim (again)
Regards
Jerry

Re: Source Code download issue
Hi,
The source code is hosted here: https://bitbucket.org/heinrichsweikamp/ - we need to change the download section on our webpage. Here, only HEX builds are available.
regards,
Matthias

Re: Source Code download issue
Hi,
I downloaded what I thought was the v2.51 Beta source code and attempted a build but failed. I did faff about trying to find the code so figured I had downloaded the wrong file. I downloaded the v2.50 and tried a build on that but also failed. This is the message I am getting
Error - could not find definition of symbol 'deco_calc_CNS_decrease_15min' in file 'sourcecode250[1]\code_part1\OSTC_code_asm_part1\MAIN.o'.
Errors : 1
Any idea whatI may be doing wrong?
Regards
Jerry

Re: Source Code download issue
Hi, I set it up using MPLAB IDE v8.87. I then used the wizard to set up the project. I followed the notepad instructions contained in the source code download, but get the build failed message.
I then changed the library output to 'build library target ( invoke MPLIB)' I cleaned and built all again and got a 'build succeeded' message. I don't recall changing that last time though (last time on my old computer, when I had it working I mean)
Does this sound right (before I flash it to my OSTC)
Regards
Jerry.

Ok should have checked before posting. That seems to have built a lib file and not a hex file, so won't be flashing anything at the moment.
Can't work out what I'm doing wrong this time.
