Managing gas pressures

Post by jeanmarie1778 »

Hello,

In the near future, will there be managing gas pressures with transmitters on the bottles? :)

No.
Its been discussed (although in German).
The OSTC's hardware does not support it (no transmitter).

And then there is this issue:
[quote=HeinrichsWeikamp]
What this OSTC 2N dive computer is not:
Competition for cheap mass products for the occasional diver.

What this OSTC 2N dive computer is:
An experimental platform for all experienced divers who are interested in the theory of diving and who value maximum transparency and individual adaptabily .

There are already several high-performance dive computers on the market-- not quite a dime a dozen, but enough to give users a choice of products.

Heinrichsweikamp had the opportunity to implement Air Integration with the frog but chose not to do so. At best you would have to wait for the next hardware version of the OSTC, but I suspect HW will not implement it there either.

Not to talk about the practicalities in tec diving, especially in the context of double tanks and redundancy.
Cheers,
