Thats easy,
if you go in the Reset Menu and do a "Reset CF, Gas & Deco" the Decotype is set to L16-FG OC.
Cheers

Hello Matthias,
back from a nice 50m dive. The new feature aGF is working properly. Even the gray-out TTS and ceiling after gas change (until new plan is ready) is a good solution and also works ok
Fantastic work guys

@Rob
Hmmm..., Ok but I still don't understand what GF-Deco is. Is GF-Deco a new Decotype?

Hello Hansjoerg,
no it is still the L16-GF OC. I think Matthias means that if you use this model you make deco dives.

@Hansjoerg
hi, OSTC supports the decotypes
ZH-L16 OC (thats the old default)
Gauge
ZH-L16 CC
Apnoe
ZH-L16-GF OC (the new default)
ZH-L16-GF CC
pscr-GF
Its just a change when you reset the Computer.

Rob

Good Job! Thanks for your efforts!
This time all the CF settings were reseted? I did not expect this - so i did not take any notes before the update... So it would be nice - next time - if you can give an information like "this beta resets all settings" or something like that... Otherwise it costs me again "hours" to find my favorite battery color >:D<

The default decotype was "standard" Bühlmann from the very first OSTC firmware.
This has now been changed. Even non-technical divers (We assume 50% of the OSTC users are rec-divers doing decompression dives from time to time) will benefit from this deco approach:
21min @ 42m on Air will result in:
Standard Bühlmann (ZH-L16 OC):
6m - 6'
3m - 15'
TTS: 26'
GF Bühlmann (L16-GF OC 30/85):
18m - 1'
15m - 1'
12m - 2'
9m - 4'
6m - 6'
3m - 17'
TTS: 36'
Regards,
Matthias

Thanks Matthias,
I think its a sensible change as it adds some conservatism. I've been diving on GF for quite a while now. I also support the change to 85.

Hello Matthias,
I will do that in a few days because I'm not at home right now. Is there a bug in the FW or what is the reason?
Regards

Hi Mike,
Same here with the french version: the whole "CCR setpoint and Gas" menu is black. English version works fine.
