Hello OSTC divers,

I have a question about the TTS time in my OSTC 2N.
In the manual the explanation of the TTS is the total sum of the deco time. (TTS: Summe aller Decostops page 33)

In simulation:

L16-GF OC V2.70
CF11 120%
CF12 80%

let’s say 11 minutes and 54 meter, G1: 21/0.

Results in.

18M 1’
15M 1’
12M 2’
9M 2’
6M 2’
4M 10’

TTS: 25’

The total sum of decotime is 18 minutes, then what are the remaining 7 minutes.
it must have something to do with the descent time.
But from 54 to 18 meters 7 minutes is too long, so what else is in that time?

Two things :

1 - don't forget time between each deco stop, almost 20s for each and 1 minute between last deco stop and surface
TTS include deco time + time to reach surface at 10m/mn

2 - CF11 and CF12 have nothing to do with L16-GF algorithm

Hi Junkie,

you are refering to the ascent time ( Aufstiegszeit ), not to the descent time ( Abstiegszeit ).
And you have to consider the ascent from 54 meters to the surface, not only to the first stop.
Your total ascent time from 54 meters to the surface with a ascent speed of 8 meters per minute results in 6,75 minutes.
Thats your 7 minutes difference from 18 minutes deco time to 25 minutes TTS.

It is a clear to me now, do you know of the 8 meters per minute in simulation fixed or also a custom function?

It´s 10m/mn and not 8
It´s not à custom function, due to Buhlmann algorithm

deco time
+10m/min (rounded to the next full minute)
+1min between 3m and 0m

No difference here. TTS=Ascend time+Deco Time.
