Hi,
Today we released the new 3.05 beta for the OSTC Mk.2, 2N and 2C.
New since 3.03 stable:
NEW: Quit Simulator automatically when starting a real dive
CHANGE: Battery percent based on ON-Time instead of battery voltage
BUGFIX: Fix licence in German
BUGFIX: Fix minor layout bugs in surface mode
NEW: Auto Setpoint switch function (CC Modes)
Some info about the new battery display:
Until today the old battery meter was based on the cell voltage only. That provided only a very rough estimation of the remaining capacity. Since lithium cells have a very steep drop of cell voltage at the end of the cycle the battery meter was almost full for a long period before dropping rapidly to zero at the end. The Mk.2, 2N and 2C hardware does not contain a dedicated battery monitor required for a better display.
Our solution to this is to simply count down the on-time (CF74) and compute the battery percent based on this value. Default is 30h (The battery will last ~40h on these computers).
After installation of the 3.05beta it's highly recommend to fully recharge the OSTC to have this new feature working as intent.
Beta versions will be posted in the forum only. http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=479 only provides stable version.
regards,
Matthias

I found out that for store "SP Mode" you are using EEPROM location 116, that already used for store number of "First Diluent".
Is the "First Diluent" doesn't used any more, or just a mistake?
With best regards,
Serhiy.
