Which PC program do you recommend to change the safety stop parameters on the Sport?

There is no software supporting this currently. I quite sure it will be available in e.g. "subsurface" or "Diving Log" soon.

Hi matthias. Nice upgrade with the ascent graph. In simulation mode, I see a small graph with 3 blocs ( white if I remember correctly) and 2 red blocks.

I understand that the red means "too fast ascent" but can you give an idea about the "scale" on the bar graph.

I hope, my question is clear :)

Hi ,

Does ths speed options taken foer the OSTC 2 apply to the sport?

The latest (beta for OSTC2, cR and OSTC 3) has both: Speed in m/min and the graph. This is the latest speed table:

; use a depth-dependent ascent rate warning
; depth(m): 6 >12 >18 >23 >27 >31 >35 >39 >44 >50
; speed(m/min): 7 8 9 10 11 13 15 17 18 19 20 (warning)
; speed(m/min): 5 6 7 8 8 10 12 13 14 15 15 (attention)

This is currently not configurable. It can be toggled between fixed 10m/min warning and the above table only.

Hi Matthias,

May I point out the 2 questions above that have not been answered? If my questions are not clear or have no purpose, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi guyloup,

I think your questions need a little patience. Right now is the "Boot 2016", which is germanys biggest dive exhibition and I guess the whole team is there right now until sunday.

Thank you for the answer MAtthias.

Just one question, to make it clear: On the graph bar: attention would be one red bar and warning 2 red bars?

Hallo,

First dive with Sport 10.23 version yesterday: the speed bargraph is a little bit more interesting than the numerical value but:
* Too small: if you just look at, you don't see it; need to focus on and you lost on "efficiency"
* Too fast: speed is not enough filtered and just moving hand gives an orange light!

It has to be improved for a complete benefit. I guess it's an important work to do but it is maybe the only negative item of the Sport; so improve it would be perfect!

Thanks

The display could possibly be bigger but apart from that it is a guide and it does exactly what it is supposed to do..........I think anyway!

Hallo

Danke

Subsurface 4.5.4 is due really soon, and in that version you can configure the safety stop parameters on your hwOS based DC's.
