OSTC 2 issue viewing depth trace in logbook after adding bookmarks

Post by danstaps »

Hi there,

I've recently purchased a new OSTC2 and have installed the latest firmware (v2.07) via subsurface.

All seems to be working fine with the exception of a minor issue with the logbook viewed on the unit itself.

I find that when I add a mark during a dive (I dive sidemount and insert a mark on each reg switch so I can insert the correct tank switch in Subsurface), when viewed after the dive, the trace only goes as far as the first mark added. After this point, it is only subsequent marks that are shown as orange dots, i.e. no depth trace is shown.

The dive and associated marks all import and display correctly in Subsurface.

Has anyone else observed this behaviour?

Can you post an image of the logbook screen?

We got an issue with the markers in the logbook but this should be fixed in the 2.07 :S

Hi,

That looks like the bug that should be fixed already... I'll look into this again. It's "only" a display issue in the internal logbook, data is stored correctly and if fixed these dives will be displayed correctly again.

Sorry for the trouble...

Matthias
