Hi everyone, I am looking for help regarding a strange behaviour of the battery indicator of my OSTC MK2. I´m running fw 3.13.
I am going on a holiday trip next week and thought I´d charge my OSTC before. So I charged it for 17hs first. The battery indicator changed to red while charging and stayed half full. After charging it turned to green, still half full.
I thought, maybe 17hs are not enough for the unit to log a full load cycle. I connected it again, this thime for 48hs ( I forgot it, to be honest ). Result : the same as before.
Now my questions :
Does the half full indicator mean, that the battery is only charged half ? Will it possibly die during my trip ?
Could it be that the current of my charger is to weak to charge the battery ? I`m using a plug to usb adapter, don´t know how much current it delivers.
Any other ideas ? Any setting that I could change ?

Check CF74. "CF" means "Custom Function" and can be found in Menu -> Setup -> Custom Functions III. Make sure it's set to "1800", which is 30 hours.

It's intent behaviour. Battery will jump to FULL again if the unit is fully charged and the cable is removed.

While charge is added only a full charge will reset this timer.

I have the same problem with an OSTC 2C. But even with a full charge no modification of battery level. Even with a full charge of 48H, with CF74 at 1800.

Could you help me ?

Try a "reboot" from the reset menu.
