Hi,
I have tried to do a decoplan with the OSTC planner and subsurface. In both cases I found that the calculated deco is different from that calculated in the OSTC plus itself.
I want to make a decoplan for a dive with the following data:
Botton depth: 43 m.
Botton time: 30'
SD: 100/100
GF: 30/85
Bottom gas: Air
Deco gas: NX50
The problem I find is that depth and time increase in steps of 3 m. and 2'respectively. Therefore, the final result varies with respect to the desired planning.
In this case, I have tried modifying time to 31' and depth to 42 m. The resulting decoplan is:
21 m 2'
18 m 1'
15 m 2'
12 m 3'
9 m 4'
6 m 8'
3 m 17'
TTS: 44'
It would be great if it could be increased in steps of 1' and 1 m.

Re: Calculate a decoplan
OSTC Planner uses the deco code from the OSTC 2N/Mk.2/2C. Latest hwOS Software in your OSTC Plus has a lot of (small) changes to that code. The internal deco planner was and is intent to be used quickly to verify your deco and gas setup. It's not a planning tool since the operation with only two buttons is very limited.
