OSTC MK2 Gas Switching

Post by Razza »

Received my OSTC MK2 today and have been playing with the simulator. The OSTC gives me no indication to switch gas, despite having gasses configured correctly (pp02 and depth). Is this 'normal' behaviour?

Hello all,

The firmware 1.52 (Available since this week) indicates a configured gas change with "*" after the current gas. We ship out units with 1.50 - which gives no gas change recommendation.

Matthias

Cheers! When do you expect 1.52 to go stable?

Hello,

This beta version still needs (a lot) more testing and the next stable needs more new features, so don't expect this too soon.

So whats the minimum I can expect? I promise I wont hold you to it :)

Can I also suggest instead of just an asterisk to indicate a gas switch, maybe a flashing asterisk or better still flashing gas mix with asterisk to make it more visible.

Hello,

We're aware of the weather and will make some test dive (hard work, no fun ;) ) in a week. After that we think about releasing a new stable.

Cheers,
Matthias

P.S.: Pre-Dive screen done, will publish the new beta tomorrow... Good night.

Really good idea, just what this computer needs.

I don't like blinking outputs. But, we still have 23 unused custom functions left... I'll make this available as an option.
