OSTC Mk 1 issue during diving

Post by Marco »

Hello,

today I went diving, during descent the OSTC gave me '0'minutes on the no stop time, before reaching the bottom (32m) went in deco showing me 99minutes at 6 meters!...never happened before....I have the version 1.50 installed.

Tonight I reset it and tomorrow morning I will bring it into the water again and see what it does.

Does anyone any idea what can be the cause of this? Is it the version 1.50?

Another question: When I load the bootloader and I run the 'check pic' pressing the reset botton within 10seconds, I always get an error, pic not found. I reboot my PC several time without succes. I reinstall the boot loader, no luck at all.

The driver 'CDM 2.06.00 WHQL Certified'for win XP is already installed. It is strange that it doesn't work anymore, last time I use it i installed without problems the version 1.50. Any suggestion??

Thanks anyone who can give me a hand ;)

are u using GF-mode? I had it once in GF mode. Now I dive in "normal" mode and it didn't happen anymore. I think it's a glitch in de code.

Thanks Steve,

indeed I use GF's...,anyway, today I did dive and it did not happen, but yesterday evening I reboot it. Tomorrow I'm gonna hit the water again and see....

It is annoying if I have to disable the GF's....it is important to me to use them for the type of dives I need to do ;)

Thanks anyway for your help

I hope that the next firma software will fix this bug ;))

Cheers
Kim

Marco, I had the same thing happening to me. The cure was to press the reset button immediately after pressing the "check pic". Works every time now..
