Gas blinking

Hi,

I've a mk1 OSTC with v1.60 on it

I tried today the new CF42, with the blinking of the current gaz if a better gaz is available. It worked as expected, but I find that the blinking doesn't attract too much the attention to it (not so visible) - I would like to have a more visible blinking.
Suggestions :
- faster blinking
- currently the display blinks between "current gaz displayed" and "nothing displayed" - maybe it will be more visible with a blinking between "current gaz displayed" and the same but with reversed video or something like that

David

I ran some simulations yesterday and noticed that with an active gas and switching depth of 9m the blinking didn't work at 9m at all.
When I went to 6m it started blinking around 8,5m.

Hello Steve,

That's intend. The blinking starts if you miss your gas change. We'll try to make this more eye catching in the next 1.61beta. The idea with the normal/inverted output might be a good idea (and is easy to implement).

regards,
Matthias
