OSTC Mk2 wrist strap

Post by gorcio »

Is it integrated with computer case, or can it be removed and replaced with bungee cords ?

regards,

Hello,

The wrist strap can be replaced. We our own bungee mount available next week, right now such thing is available from "Innodive".

Hello Mathias,
if it will be "available" next week: Do you have photos (this week ;-) )? Who should buy this bungee mount next week without photos? ;-)
(And who would like to have a (short) "wrist strap", if there are mountable bungees?)

Hello,

Don't worry :-) We'll post photos but since this is a molded part we can not post pictures until the mold is done.

Looking forward to seeing those photos. In fact, I would appreciate if You could post more photos of the Mk2 (and others), both above and under water. A gallery would really be useful, preferably hi-res.

Aber draufklicken erzeugt "Error", im Gegensatz zu den anderen Bildern.

Error when trying to enlarge the photo of the new bungee cord mount plate.

Could You please post more photos of the computer, with and without this bungee mount, taken from different angles, showing whole computer

It's not. Tested on Chrome 5.0.3x beta, Firefox 3.6.4, Opera 10.53. Initially, the image displays bigger, to be instantly "covered" or replaced by white-gray image reading "ERROR" multiple times. All browsers tested on machines on two different networks. I can make You a screenshot if You wish.

hi,

gorcio, in first place i could not see the image,
but now it is ok.

it may be problem with flash plugin as well - i had several
problems with HW webpage in the past, i.e. on one computer
i could not download latest firmware but on other there was
no problem.

btw. new page looks very nice but it is pity, that HW went
flash way - i cannot see it nicely on my phone! ;P :)
(and html version is quite bad, i.e. it is not possible
to download firmware from it).

Today it works fine. In fact - it was working last evening. I would just love to see that bungee mount in more details, like the mount points between it and the computer. Anyways - decision has been taken :-)

HW bungee mount arrived and fitted - perfection, 100 times better than Innodive one in my opinion as it doesn't make the Mk2 fatter :-)
