import real dives - jdivelog

Post by kurt.sys »

I thought the problem was solved by deleting all the dives, but this is not true :). I have problems to read the dives from the computer. Current firmware version is 1.08 - according to jdivelog, it can read the protocol up to v1.08. I simulated some dives with jdivelog, which works perfectly with the ostc: they are added to the computer, and I can read/import them. However, real dives are logged on the computer, but I cannot import them in jdivelog.
The dives:
dive 1-4 were simulated dives (in jdivelog)
dive 5 is a real dive
dive 6 is a simulated dive (in jdivelog)
When I want to import the dives from my ostc (showing six dives in the logbook) to jdivelog only dive 1 to 4 and dive 6 are shown in the import window. Dive 5, the non-simulated dive, can't be found by jdivelog, for some reason... Something with the protocol? Is this a ostc, a jdivelog or a combination of both problem?
Thanks, Kurt

This has something to do with upgrading and wrong place of end of dive pointers... See forum jdivelog for more information
