Differing Max PP02 per gas - Post 1.81 consideration

Hi

Loving the MK2, with 2 in the family now!, and would like for this idea to be considered and added to the probably ever growing future 'wish list'!!!

I would like to be able to set differeing max PP02 limits for both back gas ( PPO2 @ 1.4) and other active gasses in the list( deco gasses @ PPO2 of 1.6 ), in both the gas planning and in dive mode. From what i can see you can only tweak CF18/19 and this is then set across the whole gas list/dive plan/dive mode yadda yadda yadda...

If this is possible with current CF in 1.8GA then please advise, or if you think this could be useful??

You can get around it through other means.

back gas/ bottom gas change the max depth alarm to match 1.4

All other gases set the change depth to whatever you want. it will allso flash if you swap under that depth.

on top of that you have the ppo2 alarm

Why not set the CF19 (Show ppO2) to 1.40 or lower? This will show your ppO2 in the normal colour before it's reaching the limit.
Yes, you have to read and compare the value with your (brain-stored) limit manually but in the end this will be easier then assigning a specific limit to any configured gas separately.
