N2 Screen brightness gone all wrong

Post by JacobT »

Hi guys
I just bought an N2 and I've yet to get it wet. I connected the N2 to my computer to set the time and have a browse of the other options (via Jdivelog) and suddenly the screen brightness changed. It is now way to bright and basically has white writing on grey background :-(

I have attached a picture to illustrate the problem.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to fix this?

Thanks

Hmm now it seems to be back to normal.. would still be nice to know what went wrong, if for no other reason than to avoid it happening again.

OK, now I'm a little more worried, the problem is back.

It seems a lot like there is a loose connection or something to whatever controls the brightness of the screen. When the problem is there I can see a faint ghost image of the front screen when I enter the menu's or simulator.

Any ideas of what it might be? is there a way to fix it?

Guess I might have to take it back to the shop... :-s
