ZH-L16 vs L16-GF

Hi

Got my OSTC yesterday, going to be diving it in CCR mode this weekend.

Is ZH-L16 CC the same as L16-GF CC with 100/100 GFs ?

Or does the ZH-L16 algorithm already assume some GFs to naked Buhlmann, and the L16-GF algorithm just allows user settings ?

If so, what are the assumed GFs ?

(ps I would have thought 100/100 is mega-aggressive for any serious dive)

Hello,

In short: NO.

Both are derived from the > Bühlmann model:
* ZHL-16 (CC or OCR) uses asymetric saturation/desaturation security factors.
* ZHL-16-GF (CC or OCR) uses GF security factors.

Hope this helps.

Thanks - that does help very much.

Any idea where I can find more about the asymetric saturation/desaturation security factors ?

Many thanks
