Hi guys, I'm a new user of the Mk2, i'm quite happy with it, I used to have a Sol and do deco with EAN75.

I managed to set up the new tank on the Mk2 and put it active but i cant find the following information :

When I reach the limit of 11m, how do I swap gas on my OSTC ? I dont find the info in the manual.

Thanks you

Hello,

In divemode you have underwater menu available. Press left (Menu?) -> right (Enter), select "Gaslist", select your gas (left button) and confirm with right (Enter).

It's actually self-explanatory while diving.

Matthias

@karuko:

I've also moved from the Sol to the OSTC. I was also looking for a quicker way to change gases. However, I've been told that this is a policy of Heinrichs-Weikamp to have a 3 button protocol here.
However, after very few dives I'm completely used to this. After all, the menus are very easy to read, understand and to follow.

i've read thats the point…

Tried yesterday and its really easy anyway :-)

I wish it was easier to see when the limit is reached and that we can can change gas, the small star, is well small :D I wish some it was more eye-catch

There is a CF that makes the current gas flashing when a better one is available.

http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/en/ostc ... functions/

CF42:Blink gas
Setting this value to 1 will blink the current gas if a better gas is available and was configured for this dive.
Recommended range: 0 or 1 (0=Normal, 1=Blinking)
Default setting: 0 (Normal)
Example: CF41=1 - The current gas will blink if a better gas is available for this depth.
