Hi guys,
I have recently crossed over to ccr diving and am using my ostc as a backup computer. On my rebreather, I can choose to have the setpoint changed automatically between high and low based on depth.
Will it be possible to have a similar feature on the ostc? For example:
I start my dive using 0.7 bar as my setpoint. My target depth is 40m and I set my rebreather controller to switch to 1.3 at depth X on my way to 40m.
Thanks for a great product!

Re: Feature request - CCR Setpoint Auto Change
Already there on the way down. Search the cf's
OSTC MK2 1394
Re: Feature request - CCR Setpoint Auto Change
Thanks. Found it - CF 39.
If the initial setpoint is 0.7 it will change to a higher setpoint around 24m if I understand the description properly.

Hallo,
Finde die idee sehr gut, aber verstehe nicht wie cf39 es machen kann ?

Based on using air as diluent of course.

@kobus
There is no such thing as an auto setpoint change. And never will be.
What this CF does is replace the target setpoint (0.7) with what is possible with your gas and the ambient pressure. Eg.~ 21% (depth + 1bar). Not the fixed 1.3 you seems to think.
As a backup computer, it might make more senses to make setpoint1 = 1.3, as your descent should not be long. Also give more meaningfully decoplanning.
Regards,

Re: Feature request - CCR Setpoint Auto Change
Yes, I agree with JeanDo - I also have an Inspiration Vision set to switch on the descent, but my OSTC has the default SP (the first one) set to 1.30 bar so the dive planning is meaningful (that is, all based on a SP of 1.3 bar)
The amount of time I am at 0.7 bar ongassing is negligible, just the time from the OSTC switching on and the SP change, and if one computer asks for more stops I do them anyway as a matter of course.
Must admit I couldn't quite work out how useful CF39 was anyway, so I have it switched off

Re: Feature request - CCR Setpoint Auto Change
Hi,
CF39 set to on will correct the PPO2 according to diluent.
With air-diluent the PPO2 will be 1,6 on 66 mtrs. even the OSTC is set to 1,3 PPO2 for example.
So if the diluent is richer then the setpoint at a given depth the setpoint is being corrected according the diluent-PPO2 in OC.

Re: Feature request - CCR Setpoint Auto Change
BTW, I scheduled setpoint switches (only for TTS and decoplan) to be added in some futur 2.x firmware...
Eg. Switching go 1.6 once you ascent to the 12m stop.
