OSTC 2N seems dead....

Hello,

earlier this evening i wanted to check the CFs on my recent OSTC 2N so i plugged it in my laptop with the USB cable. It has already been connected to this particular laptop for a firmware change (switch from 1.9 english to 1.9 French) without any problem.

It started charging although the battery was nearly full. Pressing the enter button woke the computer up.

Then i left it there for a while, when i returned it was no longer functioning: impossible to activate it anymore, wether it was plugged or unplugged. No communication with the PC either. Nothing.

Later again, pressing a button gave me a white screen for a few seconds, then back to "dead".

Anything i could do to try to solve this ?

Did you already try to reboot it using a magnet on the back? There is a description how to do that somewhere here...

Hi all,

well, after a good night sleep my OSTC decided to wake up.

the was a funny gas in G1 (20/0 = ERR) could it be the cause of the problem

I did all the resets i could in the reset menu.

I'll see if it works ok underwater this weekend.

Hello again,

playing around in the CFs menus it went dead again.

I tried the magnet reset: got the white screen but nothing more.

I would say there is definetely something wrong with it.
