Logbuch download mit JDiveLog

Hai everybody

Does anybody also have some troubles to download the logbuch datas since updated to v2.0 (The version of JDiveLog 2.16)

1. Downloading CF working well
2. Downloading dives:
A) At the OSTC appears Interface - Start - Data - Header - Profile (as normal)
B) At the jDiveLog appears a blank window - usually all the dives at the OSTC where listet in it.

It was the first dive with the V2.0 so at least one should be downloadable.
Does it has anything to do with the new memory size of the OSTC Logbook?
Do I have to do a reset of the logbook?

Suggestions are highly appriciated!

Have a read of my post a little bit further down!

I had just the same problem except I only saw one dive from 5 months ago. A downgrade to v1.9 and another upgrade to v2.0 and I now see all my old dives.

There are some issues in JDiveLog concerning downloading files, especialy if your are using a CC based deco model, do you? Switching set points is covered in 2.16 AFAIR but there are still problems if you have depth spikes or other anolaies in your profile.

Mind that you loose your new dives done with >1.90 when downgrading to 1.90.

I am using OC based deco model, if i am loosing my dives done with V2, I do not mind too much -as long everything works again after.

...ok, I have done the downgrade to V1.9 -> as explained earlier I lost the dives done with V2.0. After that I upgraded again to V2.0 without any problems. After that I could see again all the dives stored at the OSTC in JdiveLog as well!
So far so good - I will now check out whether the future Dives are visible again. I let you know about that trial as well.

Two more dives today and it still didnt load them to my PC. I had a look at the dive and my OSTC thinks it is 1998! I have corrected the date and I am diving again tomorrow so more updates then.

OK...so the date is now correct. I had two dives yeaterday and neither of them are being downloaded to the PC.

When I look in the logbook on the OSTC they are there. I click 'download to computer' on JDiveLog and after a couple of seconds it comes up with a box showing me all the dives with the options to import, ignore or cancel. The only problem is that all dives since v2.0 upgrade are not there.

What's going on?

I still have the same problem as NeilBedwin is describing! Even after downgreading to V1.9 and upgrading to the current one!
Any more ideas?

I have the identical problem after updating to v2 and now still with version 2.01.
Can see the response in the screen of the OSTC and see the transfer but nothing happens.
Even cleared the log on the computer in case it was an initialisation. But that didn't help either.

Are there some errors or warnings under "Setting" -> "Diagnostics"?

Works fine here with Win7 and JdiveLog 2.16.

BY the way, i just realized - currently I am on Cave Diving vacations in
Mexico - that my Logbock still has the same memory size than before the Upgrade.(The upgrade procedure I did about 2times, it seemed to work fine) I only have about 20 Dives avaiable at my Computer. Maybe this is somehow related to the JDiveLog Data transfer.

IIRC this should be fixed automatically when there are no old dives left in the logbook anymore.

Hi,

You can post the .bin dump of your unit here and we'll check. It requires >20h of diving (worst case), but the logbook will fix itself automatically when new dives were written.

How can I dump that .bin File. As i sad Am not having my Laptop aviable. I just did another Dive, currently they are 19 Dives in the Logbook stored.

I use Divelog 5.0 Since I upgrade to V2.0 I can not download any dives to my PC either .

And considering I just paid for the full version this is getting very upsetting .

Matthias can you help .

I am back from my dive holidays and do have two news (one good, one bad).

1. After the last dive done with V1.9 dropped out of my Dive computer Logbook, more new dives are getting stored. Currently they are 24! I will watch it carefully how the logbook will react once I did some more dives.

2. I still can't download the entire loogbook to my JDiveLog 2.16, only the last 8 dives are in the import Window visible.
Actually I wanted to post alos the diagnosis windows and the import window - but I don't no how to do it. I can't find a "Attachement" button around....

It is still not working, the same problem! My latest dives are not possible to download!
the only strange thing I just realised, at the main screen, the date format is not the it should be:

Shown:
mmddyy
usually:
ddmmyy

might that be a problem?

Hi all...

there have been any solution on this issue? as of today I'm still stucked at dive #28, I cannot import from dive #27. The two dives have the same date (10.08.2011) and same f/w ver. 1.95. Jdivelog 2.16.

Hello together,
Finally I could solve MY problem. At the end it wasn't a OSTC Problem but a JDiveLog Problem.
I opened up a new page or lets call it a new project with a blank Logbook.
With that new Logbook it was possible to download all my dives on my OSTC. (More then 30 dives)!
So far it works well, even with the Version 2.2 no problem. I do not know what went wrong with my original Logbook, no Idea.
