It seems that Linus Torvalds (creator of LINUX) is developing a reliable logbook software as it seems he's "tired of Java based software that don't work"

For what I read he's using a dead computer (UEMIS)....

It may be a good idea to let him know about the only open source dive computer in the market as that may be enough to get a bunch of "groupies" to devote their free time to enhance the OSTC capabilities...
