Hi,
I recently started using an OSTC n2. (as a backup on my AP Vision RB)
I would like to see a maximum ceiling (floating ceiling).
Couldn't find any related thread on the forum so was wondering if this has been discussed yet?

max/floating ceiling?
Re: max/floating ceiling?
@Bardass: I'm not looking for ascent speed monitoring but deco ceiling.
Now I get Deepstops presented but I would rather like to see the max. possible ceiling during the dive instead of the deepstop depts/time...

Re: max/floating ceiling?
Thnx Robert,
Still an open topic...
Would a maximal ceiling (floating ceiling) be something we can expect in the future?
Are there any other users interested in this indication (instead of deepstops)?
If interested please respond to this topic...

Re: max/floating ceiling?
Hi,
in general i'm interested but definitely not instead of deep-stops.
To clear this up, there are no deep stops acc. Pyle generated by the MK2, there are only kind of deep first stops controlled by the GF-value and these are essential.
As said before, instead of of a ceiling you can use the GF-Value.
Just make sure not to exceed GF 90 when ascending, that is basicly the ceiling.
My half cent, Reiner
