3 cell PO2 monitoring - Inspiration Vision

Post by Broady »

Hello HW team :)

I was directed here by Jo at Deep Ideas for some better idea of how the 3 cell monitoring will in future be achievable with my Inspiration Vision.

Do you have some plans in the future for PO2 monitoring of the coax cells on the Vision ? I know that this can be achieved with the Shearwater and new VRX by splitting the coax feed at the cells.

Presumably the OEM circuit board would be potted or enclosed in some way in order to prevent water droplets from interfering?

Grateful for any advice

Best wishes

Hello Graham,

We're at the beginning of O2 monitoring with the OSTC. Especially for CCR divers a countless amount of different cells, adapters, concepts and philosophies are present. Impossible (for us) to provide a out-of-the-box solution for everyone.

Right now, only the OEM O2 Monitor electronic is available from us (small quantities now, later we have it in stock regularly) BUT since the protocol between the OSTC and the cell electronic is open source we're confident that more products will work with the OSTC in the future.

Regards,
Matthias
