flickering screen in all modes

Hi. Got a little problem with my mk2 1300

The screen has started to flicker and now looks as though it is backlit and grey.
During the dive the screen kept going off all together.
In surface mode is started to do the same going from grey and dull to crisp black.


Battery compartment is totally dry as is the use port.
