A really nice point with the OSTC and this forum is that it allows me to see (and understand ??) how other divers dives and, with all your comments and links, I have progressed a lot in decompression theory and practice even if the journey still remains long !! And compare to all the CCR, cave and trimix practices, it has also help me to define mine as "recreational diving" !!
Even if I understand the concept of "plan your dive, accord the means and dive the plan", as an embraced recreational diver my means are likely to remain constant and it is more "plan your dive, check if your means are adequate, adjust your goal and dive the plan". I understand why, when planning a dive, most of you like to know what will be their gas usages in liters and will select the appropriate tank to hold this amount of gas but for 90% of my dives, it will be 7.5l (air or nitrox) twins in the back and a S40 under the arm. And for a 4 dives WE, it will be even hard to refill my S40 with oxygen….
This (too) long introduction to explain that I would find nice to, optionally, add a tank capacity to each mixes. That way, and with a proper setting of CF56 and CF57, it would be possible to check, when planning dives, what would be the planned consumption in bars instead of liters and directly check with a glance at the manometers, if the plan can be dived. I know, that with the current setting, I just have to divide by 15 or 5.8 but I'm not very good at 5.8 division in my head

No need to add an extra CF for this behavior, for each mix, this parameter could be optional and if not set, the planned gas usage would remain in liters ….
I hope not to be the only one in that case and would be pleased to exchange with different of point of view …
