OSTC 2N Switch on problem

Post by Ziutek »

Yesterday I tried to switch on my OSTC 2N but unfortunately it only blinked and didn't show any screen. I supposed that it was problem with battery (last 'ice' diving could discharge it) so I started charging. Suddenly I touched the computer and it switched on. It worked properly. Battery was charged but it ... switched off again. I couldn't switch it on again. After some minutes (without charging) I touched the buttonm and the computer switched on again!!! Today I noticed that sometimes it works and unfortunately sometimes not. If I wait some minutes I can switch it again!!! I have already rebooted it (from internal OSTC 2N menu, not magnet) but problem stil exist. Could you help me?

I don't suppose. I have never hit this computer. There are none visible external damages. If it was problem with piezo button, I suppose the pressing/tuching button should work randomly. But it works fine! And why if I touch it the screen blinks for second and suddenly is black? Maybe it's display problem?

Hi Ziutek,

Best thing is to write to HW directly.
Cheers,

Yep, write to HW directly, this sounds like a hardware problem to me.
