OSTC Planner 314 (Mac and PC)

Post by JeanDo »

Hello,

I posted a new version 314 of the OSTC Planner software:
* better interface for the Mac platform (standard menus).
* In sync with firmware 2.21 (including pSCR custom functions).
* Various small bug fixes.
* And new Replay feature:

Nice work. This is really coming together.
Any chance we will get the firmware update built in?

Nice work again!

What's about the replay function if i don't have DivingLog? Is there another way to read out the OSTC? Maybe directly in OSTC-Planner in the near future?

And what's about a virtual OSTC display to make the simulation even more real? I saw this on uwatecs smarttrak software and it gives you even more an idea how the computer works...

Hi,

* Upload firmware might be done. But not so interesting for me, because you can do it using many software already.
* Extracting and saving dive in UDDF3 might be interesting. Especially if extracting also data that are not used by the other softwares (GF settings, offset, last stop, GF curve, etc.).
* Virtual display is a HUGE work. And need to be redone for each change in the firmware... But I have a screen copy code laying around, I can add that.
* Another project I might start someday is a pilot mode (make the OSTC itself redo a recorded dive), just like Divinglog or jdivelog, BUT WITH a fast-forward speed. One of the problem being not to burn the computer with a high computation charge for several minutes...

Cheers,
