Hi,
I'm trying to download my OSTC Mk2 (v2.00) to DiveLog 5.0.6 and receive the following error at around 90% download:
"OSTC ParseFooter2: Index was out of range.Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"
I'm running DiveLog in a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit virtual machine, under Parallels 7 on a OS X Lion MacBook Air. I've installed the VCP drivers from the FDTI site for Windows (2.08.14 - from executable) and Mac OSX (2.2.17).
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
I've been able to work around this by downloading in Bootcamp so it's not a major issue...but it would be nice to get it working.
Thanks

Albo,
This is really a Diving Log question. You should place this question in the Diving Log forum. I am sure Sven will be able to help! He is a regular visitor here but it will probably be quicker there.

Hi Albo
It sounds like an interrupted transfer and some missing bytes from the profile data. Maybe it is a timing or driver issue, but I think it will be difficult to find the root of the problem.
You can try to remove the VCP drivers, because on Windows 7 you don't have to install the driver manually. When you connect the interface cable the first time, the correct drivers will be downloaded and installed automatically. Maybe that is one possible problem. Another issue could be the virtual machine and the hardware emulation.
You can try to use the "Universal Downloader" in Diving Log, which is using libdivecomputer. Let me know if that downloads successfully.
Kind regards,
Sven

Thank you Sven.
Today I was able to download the dives without difficulty. I'm not sure what if anything I did different but it may have been the number of dives I was trying to download.
Cheers,
Albo
