Hello,

Today, we released the 2.50 stable for the Mk.2/2N!

Updating is very easy if you have 1.90 or later (e.g. all 2N users!) and using Windows.
1. Get new bootloader v2: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=77&version=en
2. Follow the step-by-step instructions: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=117&version=en

New since 2.21:
- Some new Custom functions, check this thread for a PDF: read.php?2,8503
- a lot of small bugfixes and improvements
- minor layout changes

Important: This update will reset your custom functions and gaslist!

Hallo,

1. Neuen bootloader v2 herunterladen: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=77&version=de
2. Die einfache Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung befolgen: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=117&version=de

New since 2.21:

Was mich jetzt erstaunt.

Hallo Scubatinoo,

Holla Matthias,

Da hat sich ein kleiner Schreibfehler reingeschlichen:

If the previous installed version already had CF66, no reset of the CF will happen.

Updated sucessfully to 2.50 with the German HEX compiled by DiverM.
Try it next week...

Using the new CF 65 to show safety and 66 to show GF in NDL.
Inactive Gases Color as defined in CF64 was set to black after update, so i cant see them until changing the color to a light blue ;).

@HW
CHANGE: CF01 default to 75cm
CHANGE: CF01 default to 50cm

Was stimmt nun? ;)

Thx!

Regards
Manuel

That is fantastic, thanks to everyone involved.

As a matter of interest I have no idea how to compile or build the source code but that still doesn't stop me fiddling (I can't help it, what can I say)

I downloaded the source code and followed the notepad instructions ------ to a point.

I have added
/code_part1/OSTC_code_asm_part1/18f4685_ostc_mkII.lkr
/code_part1/OSTC_code_asm_part1/MAIN.ASM
/code_part1/OSTC_code_c_part2/p2_deco.o

and

- Make sure the IDE is configured to find the "clib.lib" file
(needed even with precompiled p2_deco.o)
Menu : Project > Build Options ... > Project > Directories
Set «Search Directories» for : «Library Seach Path» to the path of the
“clib.lib” file (in c:\Program Files\Microship\MCC18\lib in my case)
Set «Build Directory Policy» to «Assemble/Compile in source-file directory, link in output directory»

I'm sure that was done ok. Without making any changes I hit F10 and it produced a Hex file.

Now the problem. I thought I had located the safety stop data in the 'divemode.asm' and placed that into the 'other files' directory. Once expanded I can't see anything obvious to alter the depth from 5m to 6m.

Am I missing something or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Look in "definitions.asm" for hard-coded limits and thresholds....

Matthias

Thanks very much, I'll give that a try.

Ok I have found the limits and successfully changed it to run from 6 to 3 metres. I thought I might increase the stop time. I set that to 240 and no problems, the simulator gives a 4 minute stop. Then I thought I might try a 5 minute stop so I set it to 300. When I ran that on the simulator it gave me a safety stop of 1.43. I dropped it down to 299 and it gave me about a 40second stop. Put it back to 240 and it gives me a 4 minute stop. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?

Regards.

Jerry.

Suggestion : unsigned 8 bits data = Max 255 ??
What you observe is just the rest of à div by 256....

Ah thank you. That makes sense. Do you know if it can be changed to a 16bit function? And is it easy?
